The Green Heart Residency
Discover your creative essence at the Green Heart Private Residence in Kilifi. This coastal sanctuary offers a private beach and stunning ocean views, providing the perfect landscape for artists, researchers, and innovators to reconnect with nature. We focus on "Green" innovation, encouraging you to experiment with local materials like wood, glass, and seaweed to push the boundaries of your craft.
The Experience
Our self-funded residency offers maximum flexibility. Recognizing that the creative process follows its own rhythm, stay durations are adaptable from two weeks to three months. This allows you to truly integrate into the local culture and cultivate meaningful work.

Logistics & Essentials
The residency fee is USD 500 per week. Residents cover their own meals (self-catering kitchen available), travel to and from Kilifi, project materials, insurance, and visa requirements. Kilifi is accessible via Mombasa or Malindi airports.

Include your Resume, a portfolio (PDF max 10MB), a 300 to 500 word project statement, proposed dates, and one reference. We recommend applying at least four weeks before your intended arrival.
